I Won't Leave You

Yaaaaaaayyyy first completed pic of the new year!

Yes, these two are together! I put these two together quite a while ago because mainly neither of them have a love interest and they're two of my favorite characters I've created. And, I also really like them together because their worlds are so different and no one believes that their relationship will last. (boy, they will sure tell them otherwise lol XD)

Anyways, I really like how Dephirius and Nevailah themselves turned out I was playing around with the shading and I really like the result ^^

The background, however, is nothing special and it's really not that great.. I knew I would screw it up because of the sky... grrrr.... and the mountains kind of suck too :/ The feeling I was trying to capture on the other hand, turned out ok... maybe

Dephirius is supposed to be leaping out of the water, but I got lazy and didn't add any water effects XD (and, Nevailah IS sitting down, so he didn't leap THAT high XD lol)

So yeah, this took all day to color! So, with the possibly 2-3 hours drawing and inking it, plus the 6 hours I worked on coloring it today, this took me around 8-9 HOURS!!!! That's as about as long as it takes me to do traditional art these days lol
